Benjamin Timothy Stepp

April 12, 1962 — February 21, 2017

Benjamin Timothy Stepp,54 of 152 Don Minnix Lane (Bluewell) Bluefield, WV died on Tuesday February 21 at home with his loving father Hubert Fred Stepp.   Born April 12, 1962 in Bluefield WV, he was the son of Hubert Fred Stepp and the late Audrey "Bobbie" Tabor Stepp.   Mr. Stepp was a graduate of Bluefield High School and attended Bluefield State College.  Mr. Stepp was employed by the Bluefield Sanitation Department.  Mr.  Stepp was a honest hard working man that cared for others more than himself. He could always be found at  a Bluefield Beaver football game or basketball game cheering on his team. He was a man of deep faith and was a Christian.Survivors include brothers Hubert Keith Stepp of Denton NC, Donald L. Stepp and wife Carol of Lexington NC; sisters Kathy L. Hamm of Ghent WV, Deborah Anne Shelton and husband Don of Hardy VA, Karen Michelle Stepp and Jeffrey Stacy of Dublin Va, 4 nieces and nephews, and 3 great nieces and nephews.     Funeral services will be conducted at 1pm Saturday at the Cravens-Shires funeral Home in Bluewell with TG Ayers, Senior Pastor Community Advent Christian Church officiating.  Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens on Courthouse Road in Princeton where Pastor DJ Stinson will officiate.  Ronnie Basconi, Kevin Crane, Dalton Egnor, Ricky Hayes, Billy Stinson, Danny Stinson, Steven Tibbs, and Billy Wimmer will serve as pallbearers.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11 am to 1 pm Saturday.     Online condolences will be accepted at www.cravens-shires.com
