Ardith Smith

Ardith Smith, 88, of Cola Avenue (Bluewell), Bluefield, WV, went to be with her Lord and Master on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at Bluefield Regional Medical Center. Born on May 23, 1928 in Rock, she was a daughter of the late Edgar and Gwen Lusk Parker.  She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Bluewell and was a member of the Women of the Church and the WMU. She was a retired sales clerk for Lord & Taylor Dept. Store in New York after her retirement she made her home in New Port Richey, Florida until she decided moved back to Bluewell to be with her family where she spent the last 14 years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Smith; two brothers, Keith and Hershel Parker; and a sister, Evelyn Kruetz. Survivors include her: Special caregivers: Connie and Donnie Dinger of Bluefield and Tina Hale of Bluefield, WV; two brothers: Norman Parker and wife Jane of Norfolk, VA and Arnold Parker and wife Linda of Rock Memorial services will be conducted on Sunday, February 26, 2017 at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church in Bluewell with Rev. James Milam, Minister Jack Johnson and Rev. Donnie Dinger officiating. Friends may call on Sunday from 1:30-2:00 PM at the church.
