Pauline (Polly) Winebarger

Pauline (Polly) Olagay Winebarger of Max Meadows, VA, formerly of Leckie, WV. Pauline (Polly) Winebarger passed away at the home of her daughter, Agnes, on January 28, 2017 after suffering from alzheimer's for the past ten years. She is now at peace with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and in her "right mind" and for that "we are so thankful.".Born on May 12, 1933. she was the daughter of the late Everette and Rachel McGrady Williams of Leckie, WV.She was a member of the Leckie Pentecostal Holiness Church and was employed by McDowell Continuous Care, Gary, WV for 21 years, She retired from the Nursing Home in 2007. She was a resident of Princeton Health Care for three years and a resident of Glenwood Nursing Home for one year.In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her former husband, Dempsey Winebarger of Fort Blackmore, VA; Two sons: Edward (Eddie) and Ray Winebarger; Great granddaughter, Destiny Duncan; Four brothers: Lee, Luther, Junior, James (Bear) Williams and one sister, Helen Haines.She is survived by three daughters: Agnes Warren and husband Samuel (Sam) of Max Meadows, VA whom she resided with and received excellent care from for most of the 10 years she suffered with alzheimer's; Mary Lambert and husband Wayne of Anawalt, WV; Judy Hess and husband Roger of Princeton, WV; Four sons: Dewey Winebarger and wife Regina of Anawalt, WV; Dean Winebarger and wife Margie of Leckie, WV; Delmer Winebarger and wife Dotty of Leckie, WV and Jeffrey (Jeff) Winebarger and wife Misti of Locust Grove, GA. Two sisters: Susie Dollinger and companion William Black of Nemours, WV and Linda DeVito of Rosenhayn, NJ. One brother, Toby Williams of Rosenhayn, NJ; 21 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren and a host of friends.            Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at 1:00 PM the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell by, her daughter, Pastor Mary Lambert and Reverend Jimmy Sanson officiating ,Burial will follow at Grandview Memory Gardens on Bluefield Tazewell Road. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Grandsons will serve as palllbearers.                            . She is also survived by the many friends at Hospice of Southwest VA, Princeton Health Care and Glenwood Nursing Home who cared for her.
