Eleanor Chambers, 62, a loving wife, mother, and grandmother of Bramwell, WV passed away Friday, January 13, 2017 after a long courageous battle with cancer. Eleanor was born December 8, 1954, in Panther, WV to the late John and Goldia Bryant. She was a homemaker, a caregiver, she never met a stranger and opened her home to everybody. She was a very special sister who will be greatly missed. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Dewayne Blankenship and Michael Coleman, four brothers, Edward, Bunyon, John and Davil Bryant, one sister, Barbara Roberts, four nephews and three nieces. Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband, David Chambers, who has been right by her side for 37 years. Her daughter Willenia Joy Coleman, her adopted grandsons, Travis, Mickey and Jonathan Blankenship, her granddaughter, Molly Coleman; Brothers, William Bryant, Roderfield, WV, McGee and Beverly Bryant, Justice, WV. Sister Ann Branham, Kannapolis NC, sister and best friend Sina and Ray Lowe, Mt. Airy, NC. Several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, January 16 at 11 am with the Reverend Clinton Jackson officiating at the chapel of Cravens-Shires Funeral Home, Bluefield, WV. Burial will follow in Iaeger Memorial Cemetery, Roderfield, WV. Serving as pallbearers will be family and friends.
