Louella Jane Barrett

                **DUE to inclement weather, the funeral for SATURDAY has been rescheduled to Monday morning at 11:00. Friends may call from 10:00-11:00, prior to services.                Louella Jane Barrett, 89, of Old Bramwell Road Bluefield, WV passed away on Wednesday, January 04, 2017 at the Maple Nursing and Rehab in Bluefield, WV.                 Louella was born on July 01, 1927 in Bluefield, WV to the late Radar Ballard and Ollie Compton Ballard. She had been a lifelong resident of Bluefield and was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Bluefield, WV.                 In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Arthur Robert Barrett; one brother Basil Ballard; and two sisters, Elsie Beasley and Clara Nunn. Louella was the last member of her family.                 Left to cherish her memory are her three daughters, Linda J. Mitchell and husband Cecil of Bluefield, VA; Judy Ann Carter and husband Arlie of Bluefield, WV and Bonnie B. Duncan and husband Dale of Cary, NC. She is also survived by her sister in law Elizabeth Ballard of Bluefield, VA; seven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.                  Funeral service will be held on Monday, January 9, 2017 at 11:00AM at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluefield (Bluewell), WV with Rev. Gary Jakes officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum in Princeton, WV with friends and family serving as pallbearers.                 The family will receive friends and relatives on Monday from 10:00-11:00AM at the funeral home.                 Online condolences will be accepted at www.cravens-shires.com
