Betty Jean Fagio

Betty Jean Fagio, 81, of Greenwood Road, Bluefield, WV, passed away on Friday, December 30, 2016 at the Bland County Nursing and Rehab Center.   Born on September 3, 1935 in McDowell County, she was a daughter of the late William Wilhite, Sr. and Margaret Young Wilhite. She had lived mostly in McDowell but relocated to Bluefield twelve years ago. She was a homemaker.   In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Aaron Andrew (Ernie) Fagio, Sr.; a son, Aaron Andrew Fagio, Jr.; grandson, Thomas “TJ” Fagio; son-in-law, Tommy Gabriel; brother, William Wilhite, Jr.; and three sisters, Katherine Seitz, Sylvia Simmons, and Elsie Eller.   Survivors include her three daughters, Margaret Gabriel of Bluefield, Ellen Burks and Larry of Bluefield, and Jeannie Torres Justice and Steve of Bluefield; 2 sons, Chris Fagio and Phyllis of Bluefield, and Bradford Fagio and Vonda of Pax; 10 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; a sister, Ellen Magle of FL; and two brothers, James Wilhite of FL and Charlie Wilhite of IL.   Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, January 4, 2016 at 1:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell. Entombment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum in Bluewell.   Friends may call on Wednesday prior to services, from 12:00-1:00 PM at the funeral home.   Online condolences will be accepted at www.cravens-shires.com
