Ronald Dale Bailey

Ronald Dale Bailey, 81, of Jake Street, Montcalm, passed away on Saturday, December 24, 2016 at his home.   Born on May 7, 1935 in McComas, he was a son of the late Charlie and Claudine Thompson Bailey. He had been a resident of Montcalm for 49 years and was a member of the Brushfork Church of Christ. He was a veteran of the US Army for 2 years in Ft. Knox, KY and served in the National Guard in Brushfork for 20 years.. He was a retired coal miner with 25 years of service and was a member of the UMWA. He was a member of the Bailey Masonic Lodge #137.   In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Buddy Bailey, Betty Bailey Walton, Marvin Bailey, Jean Bailey Lusk, and James Bailey.   Survivors include his wife, Wanda Belcher Bailey of the home; son, Tommy Dale Bailey and wife Tammy of Mooresville, NC; daughter, Tina Arlene Williams and husband Terrance of Beckley; 6 grandchildren, Ronald Williams, Jonathon Williams (Tabitha), Bo Bailey (LeAnn), Cassie Collins (Corbin), Carley Bailey, Cody Pack; and 2 great grandchildren, Chloee Bailey and Rhett Collins; brother, Ray Bailey and wife Chris; and 2 sisters, Joyce Noland of Princeton and Connie Riggs and husband Daniel of Morris, IL.   Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, December 30, 2016 at 11:00 AM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Conway Hutton officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park Bluewell with Buddy Bailey, Bo Bailey, Tommy Bailey, Jonathan Williams, Cody Pack, and Terrance Williams will serve as pallbearers. Military honors will be performed by West Virginia National Guard Honor Guard.   Friends may call on Thursday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
