Michael Allen Kade, 70, of Buttermilk Junction Road, Montcalm, passed away on Monday, December 19, 2016 at Princeton Community Hospital. Born on October 16, 1946 in Helen, WV, he was a son of the late Carl and Goldie Young Kade. He had been a lifelong resident of Montcalm. He attended the Deliverance Temple Church in Brushfork and was a retired construction worker. He loved hunting, fishing, and his dog, Sammy. Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Frances Carver Kade; daughters, Michelle and David Thomason of Bluewell, Delissa and Richard Sigmon of Sandlick, Priscilla and John Gibson of Montcalm; grandchildren, Natalie Sigmon, Courtney Sigmon, and Zoe Thomason; great grandchild, Piper Sigmon; several nieces and nephews; brothers and sisters, Larry and Marilyn Kade of Sandlick, Danny Kade of Jonesborough, TN, Donald and Julie Kade of Jonesborough, TN, Goldie and Danny Dennis of Princeton, Vicki and Ray Lynch of Princeton, Mitchell and Betty Kade of Bluewell; and special friends, Larry Auton, Freddy Kirby and Roy Spaulding, and Ben Auton, who was like a son to him. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, December 23, 2016 at 1:30 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Rev. David Kirby officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell where Freddy Kirby, Albert Bailey, Roy Spaulding, Cecil Hash, Larry Auton, Jr., Ben Auton, Joe Thomason, and Blake Auton will serve as pallbearers. Friends may call on Thursday from 6-8PM at the funeral home. Online condolences will be accepted at www.cravens-shires.com
