Margaret Anne Carver, 93, of Dupont Street, Nemours, WV, and formerly of Coopers, passed away on Sunday, December 4, 2016 at her home. Born on January 23, 1923 in Freeman, she was a daughter of the late Michael and Annie L. Szinoak Fitzko. She had been a resident of Nemours for 8 months and was a member of the Bramwell Wesleyan Church where she belonged to the Ladies Missionary Group. She formerly worked for Warrenizing Cleaners, the Town of Bramwell and was also a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Gentry Carver; brothers, Mike, Mick, John and Andrew Fitzko; half-sisters, Mary Kosinar and Pearl Patterson. Survivors include her son, Gerald Lee “Jerry” Carver and wife Susan of McComas; daughter, Cynthia Ellen Bell of Nemours; 4 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and 13 great-great grandchildren; and 2 step-grandchildren and 3 step great-great grandchildren; Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, December 8, 2016 at 11:00 AM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Rev. Barry Wright officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell where Randy Gibson, Demont Lewis, Tommy Gilbert, Shaine White, Robbie Mabry, TJ Powell serving as pallbearers.
