                Doris Helen Nance, 80, of Anawalt, West Virginia passed away at her home on Friday, December 02, 2016.                 Doris was born April 01, 1936 in Ashe County, North Carolina to the late Reece and Blanche Miller Testerman. Doris had been a resident of Anawalt for the past 62 years and was of the Baptist faith. Doris was a loving wife of 53 years, and a wonderful mother and grandmother whom we all loved and are going to miss greatly.                 In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband Howard William Nance; one son William David Nance and two sisters Mamie Gentry and Laura Woods.                   Those left to cherish her memories include her children; Linda Evans and husband Johnny of Anawalt, West Virginia; Shirley Reed and husband Steve of Oceana, West Virginia; Deborah Miller and husband Michael of Jenkinjones, West Virginia and Harold Nance of the home. Grandchildren Jason and wife Tracie Evans of Morgantown, West Virginia; Maggie and Chelsea Miller of Jenkinjones, West Virginia  and two great grandchildren Roselyn and Gia Evans of Morgantown, West Virginia; Two sisters Lillian Weissenberger of New Jersey and Alta Owens and husband Gary of Winnsboro, South Carolina.  She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews as well as extended family members and friends.                 Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 06, 2016 at 12:00 P.M. (Noon) at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluefield (Bluewell), West Virginia with Rev. Jimmy Sanson officiating the service. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton, West Virginia where family will be serving as pallbearers.                  The Nance family will be receiving friend and relatives on Tuesday, December 06, 2016 from 10:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
