Edith Collins, 90, of Skating Rink Hollow Road, Bluefield, WV, passed away on Sunday, November 20, 2016 at the Bowers Hospice house in Beckley. Born on April 1, 1926 in Litwar, she was a daughter of the late Matthew and Barbara Robinette Cline. She had been a resident of the Bluefield area for 18 years and attended the Shields Chapel. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Elijah Collins and her second husband, Jack Lowe; daughter, Barbara Shirley; sons-in-law, Don Shirley, Eddie Prince and Johnny Brown; two great-grandchildren, Andrew Wilson and Peyton Blue Emrich; brothers, Hannibal, Herman, Billy, and Dennis Cline; and sister, Stella Trent. She was the last sibling of her immediate family. Survivors include her sons, Matthew Collins and Mary of Iaeger, Michael Gerwald of Panther; daughters, Nita Ratliff and Bobby of Bluefield, Linda Prince of Cape Coral, FL, and Leona Mae Willis and Harold of Cartersville, GA; 14 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at 1:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Rev. Steve Roberts officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton where family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Friends may call on Wednesday from 11:00-1:00 PM at the funeral home.
