Rosa “Biboo” Corte, 92, of Fawn Circle, Bluefield, VA, formerly of Kimball, passed away on Monday, November 7, 2016. Born on October 19, 1924 in Kimball, she was a daughter of the late Nick and Anna Toman Strock. She had been a resident of Bluefield, VA since 1996 and was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Bluefield, VA. She was a graduate of Welch High School and was a member of the Bramwell Order of the Eastern Star #158. She was retired from Corte Construction. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ennio J. Corte; brothers, Steve Sulic, Tom Sulic, and Johnny Strock; and sisters, Mary Snow, Katie Hall, Helen Pestun, Annie Simmons, Agnes Murphy, Stella Pollard, and Louise Kowasleski. She was the last surviving sibling of her immediate family. Survivors include her daughter, Loretta Corte of Bluefield, VA. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, November 12, 2016 at 11:30 AM at the First United Methodist Church, 200 S. College Avenue, Bluefield, VA 24605 with Dr. Brad Scott officiating. Burial will follow at the Woodlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum in Bluewell with Justin Bays, Jack Brewster, Manfred Burchette, Robert Clendenen, Randall Hash, and Roscoe Matney serving as pallbearers. Friends may call on Saturday from 10:30-11:30AM at the First United Methodist Church, 200 S. College Avenue, Bluefield, VA 24605.
