Donna Gail Calabro

                Donna Gail Calabro, 74, of Wilson St. Yadkinville, North Carolina formerly of Welch, West Virginia passed away on Thursday, October 13, 2016 at her residence.                   Donna had been a resident of North Carolina since 1997 and was a retired LPN. Donna was born on August 19, 1942 in Iaeger, West Virginia to the late James and Lenora Roberts Caskey.                   In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Carmelo Calabro; a sister, Irene Horsell; and a brother, Richard Caskey.                    Survivors include her son Antonino “Tony” Calabro of State Road, North Carolina; two daughters Sheri Calabro and life partner Scott Lane of Welch, West Virginia and Tonya Calabro and wife Leasa Summey of Thurmond, North Carolina; A grandson, Tyler Quigley of Yadkinville, NC; One brother Tom Caskey of Bluefield, West Virginia. Four sisters Alene Chastain of Seffner, Florida, Bobby Day of Tazewell, Virginia, Carol Hart of Bristol, Virginia, Greta Smith of Chesapeake, Virginia.  She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.                   Graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2016 at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell, West Virginia at 2:00 p.m. Her family and friends will be serving as pallbearers.  Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell at 1:45PM.                  The family is accepting online condolences at www.cravens-shires.com.                   The Cravens-Shires Funeral Home, 3431 Coal Heritage Road, Bluefield, WV is in charge of arrangements.
