Barbara Jean Parish

Barbara Jean Parish, 67, of, Dublin, VA, passed away on Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at her home.   Born on July 7, 1949 in Bridgeton, NJ, she was a daughter of Thelma Dooley of New Jersey and the late Fletcher Dooley. She been a resident of Dublin for 6 years and attended the Max Creek Baptist Church in Draper. She was the former owner and operator of a retail clothing store in Floyd, VA and retired in 2010.   In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a sister, Pat Dooley.   Survivors in addition to her mother include her husband, Jack Parish; step-son, Bill Parish and wife Holly of Bluefield; step-daughter, Ginger Rhodus of Clermont, FL; step-grandchildren, Matthew Rhodus, Brandon Lilly, Gabe Parish, Lauren Parish, and Dewayne Parish; and a brother, Ricky Dooley and wife Mary Ann of Bridgeton, NJ; a niece Stacy Dooley and nephew Ricky Dooley, of Bridgeton, NJ.   Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, October 15, 2016 at 11:00 AM at the Max Creek Baptist Church, 3000 Old Route 100 Road, Draper, VA, 24324 Draper with Pastors Mike Coleman and Ersel Alderman officiating.
