Stephanie Michelle Wimmer

Stephanie Michelle Walshock Wimmer 28, of Bluefield, WV, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 4, 2016 following a fatal automobile accident. Stephanie was born in Winston-Salem NC. She was preceded in death by her father, Stephen M. Walshock, brother, Micheal Walshock, special Aunt Audrey Griffin, and father-in-law, Larry J. Wimmer. Stephanie loved and enjoyed life. She was always optimistic. She was always making other people smile. Stephanie's greatest pride and joy was found in her two children that she loved passionately. Stephanie was attending Valley College to obtain a medical assistant degree. She had a degree as a dental assistant from Wytheville Community College and had also attended Bluefield State College. Stephanie leaves behind her loving and devoted husband, Cody J. Wimmer, and two young children, Carley J. Wimmer, and Caden L. Wimmer of the home. Other survivors include her parents, Bobby and Ruth Griffin Taylor of Lexington, NC, Brothers, Brandon M. Walshock of Kernersville, NC, Joshua Taylor, Chris Taylor both of Lexington, NC, Tim Taylor and Robert Taylor both of Danville, VA, Mother-in-law, Kathy Wimmer of Bluefield, WV, Brother-in law, Kelsey Wimmer (Bethany) of Tazewell, VA. Sister-in-law, Julie Wimmer Nicholas of Warrenton, VA. Grandparents: Robert and Dottie Taylor of Lenior, NC, Vera Griffin of Kernersville, NC, Billie Poseno of Bluefield, WV, and Nell Sowers of Lexington, NC. She has a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, and nephews in North Carolina, West Virginia, Virginia, Tennessee and Maryland. Memorial service will be held on Friday, October 07, 2016 at Destiny Outreach Ministries in Springville, VA at 7:00 p.m. with Pastor Steve Branch officiating the service.
