Dan Stanley Presley

Dan Stanley Presley, 63, of Vinton, VA, passed away on August 26, 2016. Dan was born June 10, 1953 in Jenkinjones, WV to the late James Louie and Bessie Jones Presley. He attended schools: Jenkinjones Elementary; graduated Anawalt Jr Hi;  Gary High; and also (NOVA) Northern Virginia  Community College, Woodbridge campus. He was a retired member of Steamfitters Local Union 602, Capitol Heights, MD. Dan was also preceded in death by brother, James Louie, Jr. (“Son”); and brother-in-law, Vaughn Dean Pruitt. Survivors include:  Brothers:  Charlie (Vicki) Presley, Fairfax, VA; and John Presley, Harpers Ferry, WV; Sisters:  Nan (Paul) Mitchem, Manassas, VA; Eleanor Mohler, Springfield, VA; and  Nancy Pruitt, Vinton, VA; and Sister-in-law, Susan Webb Presley (James Louie, Jr (“Son”), Bluefield, VA.   Also surviving are 4 nephews; 5 nieces; 3 great nephews and4 great nieces.  The family followed Dan’s wishes for private arrangements.
