Edgar Clark Anderson, Jr.

Edgar Clark Anderson Jr., 49, of College Ave, Bluefield, passed away on Monday, October 3, 2016 at his home. Edgar was the son of the late Geraldine and Edgar C. Anderson and was born on February 1, 1967 in Bluefield. He attended Trinity UMC and worked as truck driver. He served in the US Army during Desert Storm. Survivors include his wife Jennifer Anderson of the home, two daughters Reese and Regan Anderson of the home, two sons Marc and Thomas Anderson of Bamberg, Germany, and two sister Jennifer Cline (Marc) of Princeton and Sherry Shirley (Kenny) of Maiden, NC. Memorial services will be conducted on October 6, Thursday at 3:00 p.m. at Trinity United Methodist Church in Bluefield with Pastor Brent Brown officiating. Friends may call on Thursday from 2:30-3:00 at the church. Memorial contributions can be made to a girls’ softball team or league of your choice.
