Walter Lee Shrader

Walter Lee Shrader, 92, of Peppermint Street, Princeton, WV, passed away on Monday, September 12, 2016 at his home. Born on September 11, 1924 in Coopers, he was a son of the late Dave and Beulah Correlle Shrader. He had been a resident of Princeton for 41 years and was a member of the Willowbrook Baptist Church. He was a retired store manager and had formerly worked on mining equipment. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Minnie Shrader; son, Roger Shrader; 4 brothers and 2 sisters. Survivors include her daughter, Doris Shrader of the home; and special friends, Bertha and Wayne Edwards of Princeton. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, September 15, 20165 at 1:00 PM at the Willowbrook Baptist Church on the Willowbrook Road in Princeton with Pastor Emory Marchant officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell where Jarrell Halsey, Wayne Billips, Jimmy Mitchell, Hunter Owens, and Herman England will serve as pallbearers.
