Lila L. Aker

Lila L. Aker, 81, of Augusta St. Ext. Bluefield, WV passed away at her residence on Friday, September 09, 2016. Lila was born on March 09, 1935 in McComas, WV to the late James and Nannie Perkins Clower. She had been a resident of Bluefield, WV for the past 50+ years and was a member of First Baptist Church; she was a retired chef. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Roger Aker, one daughter Martha Hoback, two brothers and three sisters. Left to cherish her memory is her three sons James Eldridge of Montcalm, WV, Roger Eldridge and wife Louise of Orlando, FL, Hager Eldridge of Salisbury, NC. Four daughters Kathryn Eldridge of Falls Mills, VA, Cammie Sue Nunley and husband R.J. of Bluewell, WV, Charlotte Aker and fiancé Troy Harris of Bluefield, WV and Cristine Aker and fiancé James House of Bluefield, WV. She is also survived by four special grandchildren Delilah Aker, Major House, Anthony Pizzini and Adam Pizzini as well as many many more grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell, WV with Pastor Matt Coiner officiating the service. Entombment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum in Bluewell, WV where James House, Anthony Pizzini, Adam Pizzini and Troy Harris will be serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends and relatives on Tuesday, September 13, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
