Clem Edward Martin, 57, of Southmont Road Asheboro, North Carolina formerly of McDowell County, West Virginia passed away on Tuesday, August 30, 2016 at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital in Greensboro, North Carolina. Clem was born on April 02, 1957 in Iaeger, West Virginia to the late John Franklin Martin and Elizabeth Mullins Cline. Clem had been a resident of North Carolina for the past four months. He was preceded in death by one son Anthony Martin, two Brothers John Martin and David Cline and three sisters Charlene Walls, Naomi Roach and Nell Lafon. He was employed as a plumber. Survivors include his Fiancé Debbie Bailey of the home; two brothers Lorne Martin and wife Lisa of Fanrock, West Virginia and William “Jimmy” Martin of Hanover, West Virginia. Three sisters Minnie Hatfield of Gilbert, West Virginia; Bertha Belcher and husband Randall of Iaeger, West Virginia and Robin Cline of Fanrock, West Virginia. One grandson Bradley Martin of Asheboro, North Carolina and several nieces and nephews and close friends. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 03, 2016 at 12:00 p.m. (Noon) at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluefield (Bluewell), West Virginia. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton, West Virginia where Lorne Martin II, Scott Isom, Kevin Keys, Jackie Tickle and Jonathan Martin will be serving as pallbearers. The Martin family will be receiving friends and relatives on Saturday, September 03, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. (Noon) at the funeral home.
