Albert Cecil Pearcy

Albert Cecil Pearcy, age 70, of Coaldale, Passed away on Monday, August 22, 2016 at Bluefield Regional Medical Center. Born on December 27, 1945 in Bluefield, VA he was a son of the late Oscar and Bessie Stamper Pearcy. Albert worked in Falls Mills V.A. as a truck driver for Industrial Transport. He was a graduate of Graham High School and was of the Baptist faith. He lived in Coaldale for 39 years. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter Dixie Lee Pearcy. Left to cherish his memories is his loving wife and soulmate of 39 years, Phyllis Baily Pearcy of the home; two daughters Lisa Lacy and husband Roger Lacy Jr. of Bluefield; Penny Stevens and husband Jon Stevens of AL; Two brothers Jerry Lee Pearcy of Bluefield and Donald Pearcy Of Bluefield, VA; one sister, Janet Baily and husband Roger of Bluefield, and five grandchildren Matt, Travis, and Hannah Lacy, Andrew and Meagan Stevens. He is also survived several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, August 27, 2016 at 1:00 P.M. at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Rev. Michael Gibson and Rev. Doug Sluss officiating. Burial will follow at Grandview Memory Gardens in Bluefield, VA with co-workers as pallbearers. Nephews will serve as honorary pallbearers.
