Roosevelt Cisco, 79, passed away Tuesday, August 16, 2016, at his home in Bluefield, WV. Born in O'keefe, WV, he was the son of William Patton Cisco and Hattie Kennedy Cisco. Roosevelt was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Loyal Order of Moose, and Benevolent Protective Order of Elks. He lived in Bluefield for 47 years and retired after being a general contractor and club manager for most of those years. He recently became a member of the Midway Christian Church. He was preceded by his parents, as well as his brother Donald Ray Cisco, and three sisters, Delores Cisco Harmon, Ode Cisco Sidwell, and Corrine Cisco Kennedy. Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Trula Pearl Bailey Cisco, daughter Pamela Cisco Lambert and husband Jason of Rocky Gap, VA, and son William Patton Cisco II and wife Catherine Cisco of Cumming, GA. Grandchildren: Tracey Lynn Triana, Kelly Shields, William Patton Cisco III "Trey", and Toby Aaron Cisco. Great-grandchildren: Kali Sierra Linkous, Eric Seth Linkous, Kennedy Ashlee Shields, and Ava Pearl Shields. Per Mr. Cisco's request he has been cremated, and there will be no services or visitation. At the family's request, donations can be made to Autism Speaks (autismspeaks.org) in honor of great-granddaughter Ava Pearl Shields.
