William Michael Sampson

William Michael “Billy” Sampson, age 45, of Falls Mills, VA passed away on Friday, August 12, 2016 Born on November 23, 1970 in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, Canada, he was a son Sherman Shrader and Wanda Murray Shrader. He was a graduate of Montcalm High School and had lived in Falls Mills since 1997. He served his country with pride in the US Marine Corps from November of 1989 until September of 1997. He served all over the globe including Somalia. He was self-employed. Billy will always be loved and never forgotten. Survivors include: Mother: Wanda Shrader of Falls Mills, VA Father: Sherman Shrader and wife Momma Tammi of Bluefield, WV Wife: Vanessa Sampson of Pine Grove, WV Son: John Michael Sampson of Floyd, VA Daughters: Marina Sampson of Floyd, VA Lindsey Sampson of Pine Grove, WV Sisters: Kimberly Christian of Bluefield, WV Jessica Dick of Nevada Brother: Alan Sampson and wife Becky of Martinsville, VA Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 19, 2016 at 3:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Rev. Eddie Day officiating. Entombment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum in Bluewell where his family and friends will be serving as pallbearers. Military Graveside Honors will be performed by the US Marine Corps Honor Guard. Friends may call on Thursday from 6-9 PM at the funeral home
