Albert Jeffery Stanger

Albert Jeffery Stanger, age 64, of Lorton Lick Road, Bluefield, WV died on Sunday, August 14, 2016 at his home. Born on March 21, 1952 in Bluefield, he was a son of the late Robert and Eva Diana Sylvester Stanger. He had lived in Bluefield his entire life and was a graduate of Montcalm High School. He was a retired coal miner. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Tommy Stanger and a sister, Glynis Stafford. Survivors include: Son: Patrick Stanger of Holland, MI Brother: Joseph “Joe” Stanger of Princeton, WV Companion: Ellen Hurt of Bluefield, WV Granddaughters: Jayda and Brianna Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 19, 2016 at 1:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Rev. Larry Dyer officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell. Serving as pallbearers will be Patrick Stanger, Larry Gilmore, Michael Gilmore, Harry Harshbarger, Bill Harshbarger, and Mickey Sylvester. Friends may call on Friday afternoon from 12:00 – 1:00 PM at the funeral home prior to the service .
