Stanley York Shinault

Stanley York Shinault, 65, of Labrador Drive, Bluefield, WV, passed away on Friday, August 12, 2016 at Bluefield Regional Medical Center. Born on November 3, 1950 in Bluefield, he was a son of the late Leonard A. and Edna Quesenberry Shinault. He had been a lifelong resident of Bluefield and was a graduate of Bluefield High School. He was a retired supervisor for R&T Electric. He was an avid mountaineer fan and loved the outdoors. He loved to play the guitar and loved old music. He never met a stranger and will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Survivors include his wife, Linda Simpkins Shinault of the home; a daughter, Stacey Finley and husband Cooter of Bluefield; two grandchildren, Shay Smith and Carey Finley; a brother, Stuart Shinault and wife Linda of Bluefield; a sister, Anna Stevenson of Bluefield, VA; and several nieces, great nieces and one great nephew. Memorial services will be conducted on Monday, August 15, 2016 at 11:00 AM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Rev. Roger Lafferty officiating.
