Clara "Janie" Conley

Clara “Janie” Conley, 91, of Glenwood Park Retirement Village in Princeton, West Virginia passed away on Sunday, July 24, 2016. Clara was born on August 13, 1924 in West Virginia to the late William R. and Clara Bell Watson Spence. She had been a resident of Glenwood Park for the past five years and was a member of Fairview Christian Community Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one daughter Deborah Harding; one son, Ralph Conley, one granddaughter Jennifer Harding and her husband C.J. “Jack” Conley. Survivors include her two sons David Conley of Bluefield, WV and Pat Aliff of Tulsa, OK. Three brothers Charles Spence of Princeton, WV; Oren Spence of North Carolina and Hubert Spence of Florida. Grandchildren Jackie, Allen, Brian, Tina, Sherri, Christie, Brandi, Micah, Victoria, Breanna and Kristin; and a great-grandson, Jayden. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, July 30, 2016 at 11:00AM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Rev. Larry Dyer officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Mausoleum in Bluewell where family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Friends may call on Saturday from 10:00-11:00 AM at the funeral home.
