Pansy Dorlas Miller

I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith. II Timothy 4:7 Pansy Dorlas Miller of Leckie, West Virginia passed away on Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at her residence. Pansy was born on May 10, 1931 in Coeburn, Virginia to the late Clarence and Laura Hill Winebarger. She had been a resident of Leckie for the past 70 years and was a member of the Pentecostal Holiness Church. Her family loved her and she will be greatly missed. Pansy loved to spend time with her children and great grandchildren. She loved the beach and to travel and read. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by Dempsey Winebarger, Mildred Holbrook, Jewel Winebarger, Agnes Bailey, Delmar Hill and Clarence Winebarger Jr. Left behind to cherish her memory, is her loving husband of 57 years Dwight Miller of the home. Children Jimmy Parnell and wife Betty of Leckie, West Virginia, Veronica Miller and husband Steve of Bluefield, Virginia, Karen Sanson and husband Jimmy of Leckie, West Virginia, Yvonne Woolridge and husband Ray of Anawalt, West Virginia, Terry Parnell and wife Bonnie of Oakvale, West Virginia, Jerry Parnell and wife Kathy of Anawalt, West Virginia, Mike Miller and wife Deb of Conklintown, West Virginia, Doug Miller and wife Cathy of Conklintown, West Virginia, Sharon Rose and husband Kenny of Bluefield, Virginia. Youngest daughter Nina and David Trivett and granddaughter Sheyenne Trivett of Abbs Valley, Virginia who devoted time and love to her daily care. Granddaughter Tiffany Vedadi of Atlanta, Georgia. She is survived by twenty-seven grandchildren; thirty-six Great grandchildren and four Great great grandchildren.Two sisters, Lenora hall of Chilhowie, VA and Mary Ellen Dewesse of Bramwell, VA; Extended family and friends Dewey, Barbie and Erica Camp. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 25, 2016 at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell, West Virginia at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Jimmy Sanson officiating the service. Burial will follow at Haws Orchard Baptist Church Cemetery at Grayson Highlands State Park, Virginia. Where Mike Miller, Doug Miller, Jimmy Parnell, Jerry Parnell, Kenny Rose, David Trivett and Dewey Camp will be serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Terry Parnell, Ray Wooldridge and Steve Miller. The Miller family will be receiving friends and relatives on Friday, June 24, 2016 at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell, West Virginia from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
