Betty Sue Gibberson

Betty Sue Gibberson, 72, of Perdue Hollow Road Bluefield, WV passed away on Tuesday, June 07, 2016 at Princeton Community Hospital. Betty was born on September 07, 1943 in Mohawk, WV to the late Dott and Kathleen Hager Bailey. Betty was a member of Brushfork Baptist Church and had been an resident of Bluefield for the past 50 years. She was a graduate of Bluefield High School and a retired telephone operator. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Ronnie Eugene Gibberson and one son David Gibberson. Survivors include her son Bill Gibberson and wife Mary of Bluefield, WV; one grandson Nevin Gibberson of Bluefield, WV. Three sisters Virginia Bowles and husband Daniel L. of Princeton, WV, Shelia Boyles and husband Eddie of Bluefield, WV and Trula Cisco and husband Roosevelt of Bluefield, WV. Funeral service will be held on Friday, June 10, 2016 at 12:00 p.m. (Noon) at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluefield, WV with Rev. Larry Roberts officiating the service. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton, WV where Jeff Harry, Todd Boyles, Lonnie Miller, Eddie Boyles, Danny Bowles and Jim Gibberson will be serving as pallbearers. The Gibberson family will receive friends and relatives from 10:30 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. (Noon) at the funeral home.
