Kenneth "Boonie" Ray Fowler

Kenneth “Boonie” Ray Fowler, Jr., 42, of Leckie, West Virginia passed away on Saturday, May 28, 2016 at his residence. He was the son of Kenneth Fowler Sr. and step mother Cricket of Pageton, West Virginia and his mother Shirley Woolridge and Step father Pete of Skygusty, West Virginia he was born on Thursday, December 06, 1973 in Welch, West Virginia. Kenneth had been a resident of Leckie for the past ten years and was a member of the Holiness Church he was a Graduate of Mt. View High School. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Boyd and Hattie Fowler, also his maternal grandparents Clarence and Nettie Winebarger. Survivors include his two daughters Kimberly Fowler and Kelsey Ahmed both of North Carolina; one grandson Kendall Hopkins of North Carolina. His father Kenneth Fowler Sr. and wife Cricket of Pageton and Mother Shirley Woolridge and husband Pete of Skygusty. Two step Brothers Mark Davis and wife Susan of North Carolina and Michael Davis and wife Amy of North Carolina. He is also survived by a host of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces, Nephews and friends who will cherish his memory. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 04, 2016 at 1:00p.m. at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluefield (Bluewell), WV with Rev. F.D. Sexton officiating the service. Burial will follow at Grandview Memory Gardens in Bluefield, VA where Michael Davis, Mark Davis, Michael Warren, Brandon Day, Todd Music and Adam Roark will serve as pallbearers. The family will be receiving friends and relatives on Saturday, June 04, 2016 from 11:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
