Sandra Gail Barnes

Sandra Gail Barnes, 66, of Chicken Farm Road Bluefield, WV passed away on Saturday, May 21, 2016 at her residence. Sandra was born on October 07, 1949 in Anawalt, WV to the late George Rose Jr. and Sophia Mikels Rose. She had been a resident of Bluefield, WV for the past 19 years and attended Bluewell Church of God. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Curtis Wayne Barnes; two sons Teddy Ray Barnes and Donnie Wayne Barnes; one sister Wanda Jones and one brother Noel Eugene Rose. Survivors include her two sons Bobby Dale Barnes of Bluefield, WV and Joey Lee Barnes of Bluefield, WV. Four brothers David Leroy Rose, Billy Rose of Princeton, WV, Jackie Rose and wife Patsy of NC and Earnest Rose and wife Brenda. Three sisters Nannie Mathews and husband Al of Kernersville, NC, Dorothy Bryant of Anawalt, WV and Alma “Cookie” Barnes and husband Ricky of Bluefield, WV. She is also survived by six grandchildren and one great grandchild. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at The Bluewell Church of God with Rev. DeWayne Houk officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton. Serving as pallbearers will be Blayze Barnes, Brice Barnes, Teddy Barnes, Ricky Barnes, Tyler Hall, Jason Craft, Cody McPeak and Sage Froy. Friends may call on Wednesday afternoon from 1:00 – 2:00 PM prior to the service at the church.
