Ella "Mae" Tabor

Ella “Mae” Tabor, 93, of Gallipolis, Ohio formerly of Coaldale, West Virginia passed away on Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at Holzer Senior Care in Gallipolis, Ohio. Mae was born on April 19, 1923 in McDowell County, West Virginia to the late Ervin and Wancy Sells Lambert. Mae loved to quilt and spend time at the beach. She was blessed in her life to visit 13 states. She was a retired nursing tech at Pinecrest Nursing Home. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Robert A. Tabor, Seven Children; one brother and two sisters. Survivors include: One son: Darrell K. Tabor of Culloden, WV Daughter: Wanda L. Theiss and husband Steven of Gallipolis, OH Two Sisters: Countess Harrison of Salem, VA Margaret Meade of Radford, VA Daughter in law: Judy Tabor of Bluefield, VA Special niece: Sharon Marshall of Bluefield Several nieces and nephews Fifteen grandchildren; twenty two Great children and three Great-Great Grandchildren Funeral service will be held on Sunday, May 22, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluefield, West Virginia with Minister Doug McDaniel officiating the service. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell, West Virginia where friends and family will serve as pallbearers.
