Clayton W. Perkins, 92, of Trig Street, Princeton, passed away on Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at Charleston Area Medical Center.
Born on January 8, 1924 in Goodwill, he was a son of the late William C. and Mary York Perkins. He had been a resident of Princeton for several years and was of the Pentecostal faith. He was a retired mine foreman with Consolidated Coal Company at Turkey Gap with 38 years. He was a former member of the Moose Lodge.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Mark Butler 2 sisters, Patricia Eller and Evelyn Penturff; three brothers, William, James and Arnold Perkins.

Son: Stan Perkins and wife Della of Bluefield, WV
Terry Perkins of Princeton, WV
5 Grandchildren and 11 Great-Grandchildren 1 great-great grandchild
Sister: Barbara Perkins of Maynardsville, TN
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 16, 2016 at 12:00 Noon at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Rev. Fred Farley officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton, WV with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Friends may call on Saturday morning from 11:00 – 12:00 prior to the service.
