Ronald Lee Beggs

Ronald Lee Beggs, 64, of Redsky (Redeye Ridge) Road, Princeton, WV, passed away on Sunday, March 13, 2016 at his home. Born on April 25, 1951 in Goodwill, he was a son of the late Fred and Edith Taylor Beggs. He was raised by his grandmother, Eureka Beggs. He was a member of the Montcalm Church of Christ and was a veteran of the US Marines serving in Vietnam. He had much love for his grandchildren and a love for Harley Davidson motorcycles. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Dean Beggs. Survivors include: The Love of his life: Janie Tiller of Princeton Daughters: Heather Glovier and husband Jeff of Princeton Kim Cline and fiancé Tony Maxwell of Princeton Amy Maxwell and husband Keith of Rich Creek, VA Sandra Thomas and husband Jr of Princeton Brandy Dunnigan and husband Kenny of Princeton Cassandra Cogar and husband Rusty of Webster County 16 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild Brothers: Keith Beggs of Rock Jerry Griffith of Bluefield, VA Sisters: Nawasa Minnix of Princeton Eva Perkins of Princeton Debbie Beggs of Mt. Airy, NC Faye Gillespie of Princeton Gwen Blue of Texas Sandra Duffy of Myrtle Beach, SC Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, March 17, 2016 at 11:00 AM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Pastor Sam Edgell and Minister Eddie Via officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park in Princeton where military honors will be performed by the Mercer County Veterans Honor Guard. Family members will serve as pallbearers.
