Mary Magdalene Justus Kirk, 85, of Princeton, West Virginia went to her heavenly home on Friday, March 4, 2016 at her residence. Mary was born on July 04, 1930 in Panther, West Virginia to the late Thomas and Nellie Roberts Justus. Mary, formerly of Coalwood, West Virginia, worked as the manager of Sears in Welch for many years. She had been a resident of Princeton for the past 21 years and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Princeton, West Virginia where she had been active in Young at Heart, SOLO, Mary Martha Sunday School Class and Debbie Snyder Circle. Mary was very devoted to her family and friends. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her beloved husband William Kirk, two brothers Beckley Justus and Thomas Justus Jr; two sisters Loudema Cash and Nita Denson Survivors Include: Three Daughters: Diane Kirk of Salem, Oregon Deborah Pettus and husband Jim of Princeton, West Virginia Karen Goad and husband Randy of Statesville, North Carolina Two Brothers: Douglas Justus and wife Ellen of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Paul Justus and wife Glenda of Gadsden, Alabama One Sister: Marie McClendon and husband Ray of Gallant, Alabama Seven grandchildren Joshua Walterscheid and wife Devon of Salem, Oregon Ashley Shaw and husband Mike of Princeton, West Virginia Allison Turner and husband Bruce of Princeton, West Virginia Cody Pettus and wife Haley of Princeton, West Virginia Hannah Goad and fiancée Ben Nettles of Statesville, North Carolina Jimmy Pettus and wife Michelle of Bluefield, West Virginia Lynne Pettus of Bluefield, Virginia Nine great grandchildren Audrey and Liam Walterscheid, Spencer and Tanner Shaw, Camden and Molly Turner, Emmett Pettus, Lucas and Nathan Pettus She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews and special friends. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 08, 2016 at 1:00pm at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluefield (Bluewell), West Virginia with Dr. David Dockery officiating the service. Entombment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park Mausoleum in Princeton, West Virginia. Family members will serve as pallbearers. The Kirk family will receive friends and relatives on Tuesday, March 08, 2016 from 11:00am until the time of her service at 1:00pm at the funeral home.
