Elizabeth "Ann" Noel Mays

Elizabeth 'Ann' Noel Mays, 70, of Bluefield, WV, formerly of Tazewell, Virginia, died peacefully in her sleep on February 20, 2016, in her home. Born June 15, 1945 in Pocahontas, Virginia. She is predeceased by her parents, John R. and Edna (Quesenberry) Noel; her husband of 30 years, George Richard Mays of Tazewell, Virginia; her sisters Kathy Davidson and Sandra Sizemore. Ann is loved and will be missed by her daughter Tammy M. and her husband Jason Adams of New Orleans, Louisiana; her two sons George Richard 'Ritchie' Mays of Mt. Zion, Illinois and Kevin N. Mays and his wife Beth of Perry, Missouri and grandsons; Cameron, Landon, Bryson, Samuel and Jessie. Ann is loved and will be missed by her four brothers; Stoney Noel and his wife Sue of Morgantown, North Carolina; Woody Noel and his wife Cindy of Pocahontas, Virginia; John R. Noel and his wife Pearl of Coatesville, Pennsylvania and Dennis Noel and his wife Tina of King, North Carolina and sister Kitty Finney of Morgantown, North Carolina. Ann was a mother, sister, daughter, wife, friend and an aunt. She enjoyed gardening and reading in the park or by the water where she could watch waterfowl or people fish. She was a homemaker and enjoyed her game shows. She was a bird watcher whose favorite was the hummingbird. In keeping with her wishes a private memorial service will be held at a later date
