Kenneth Johnson Bailey

John 3:16 " For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Kenneth Johnson Bailey, 66, of Falls Mills, VA, passed away on Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at his home after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on October 27, 1949 in Bluefield, he was a son of the late Kenneth A. and Ruby L Coeburn Bailey. He had been a resident of Falls Mills for 21 years and was the retired owner and operator of the Kenneth Bailey Body Shop. He had also formerly worked at Bluefield Casket Company. He also enjoyed playing gospel music and loved to share his God given talent of playing string instruments. He was an avid NASCAR fan and had a great love for horses and goats. His Granddaughter's held a place in his heart that couldn't be touched. Survivors include: Wife: Deborah Gail Angles Bailey of the home Daughter: Rebecca Lynn Poe and husband Joey of Falls Mills, VA Granddaughters: Bailee Nykole Poe and Lauren Alicia Poe Brother: Cecil V. Bailey of Bluefield Sister: Linda Kay Sage and husband John Frank of Bland, VA Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, March 4, 2016 at 3:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Pastor Omar Burns officiating. Burial will follow at Grandview Memory Gardens in Bluefield, VA where Brandon Mullins, Steven Sage, Michael Sage, Timmy Wimmer, Shayne Stevenson, and Michael Quesenberry will serve as pallbearers. Friends may call on Thursday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
