Helen Felicia Edwards

Helen Felicia Edwards, 93, of WJE Place (Bluewell), Bluefield, passed away on Friday, February 26, 2016 at her home. Born on November 22, 1922 in Mercer County, she was a daughter of the late Kelly and Mary Dotson Dillon. She had been a resident of Bluewell for 45 years and was a homemaker. She was of the Pentecostal faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Jessie Edwards; a son, Bobby Edwards; and 6 sisters, Gladys Kirby, Pearl Goins, Bertha Haas, Beulah Shrader, Janet Dale, and Opal Helmandollar. Survivors include: 3 sons: William Joe Edwards and Kathy Miller of Bluewell Steven Darrell Edwards and Connie of Bluewell Terry Lee Edwards and Karen of Speedway 4 daughters: Priscilla P. Epperson and Fount of Princeton Carol Aust of Bluewell Pamela Clark and Randy of Bluewell Nora Tina Harmon and Dennis of Bluewell 14 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren Brother: Kelly “Tom” Dillon of Bucyrus, OH Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, February 29, 2016 at 7:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with Minister David Lusk officiating. Friends may call on Monday from 6-8PM at the funeral home. Burial will follow on Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at 11:00 AM at the Roselawn Memory Gardens in Princeton where family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
