Eula Rae Shrewsbury, 73, of Camellia Drive (Bluewell), Bluefield, passed away on Saturday, February 20, 2016 at the Westwood Center in Bluefield, VA.
Born on May 9, 1942 in Ashland, she was a daughter of Earl Ray and Mamie Poole Stamper. She had been a resident of Bluewell for 48 years and was a member of the Montcalm United Methodist Church. Eula was a retired nurse.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Jean Sprinkle, Earlene Stamper, and Alma Satterwhite; and a brother, Howard Franklin Stamper.

Husband: Thomas M. Shrewsbury of the home
Sons: Christopher Shrewsbury and wife Grace of Greensboro, NC
Franklin Shrewsbury and wife Robin of Bluefield
Daughter: Karen Wellman and husband Rev. Steve Wellman of Goldsboro, NC
4 grandchildren: Sierra Shrewsbury, Eva Wellman, Caleb Shrewsbury, and Owen Shrewsbury
Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at 11:00 AM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Rev. David Ratcliff and Rev. Steve Wellman officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton where family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Friends may call on Monday from 6:00-8:00PM at the funeral home.
