Ruby Ashley Craft

Ruby Ashley Craft, 81, of Pleasant Valley Drive, Princeton, WV, formerly of Hemphill, WV, passed over to her Heavenly home on February 13, 2016 . Born November 26, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Melvin and Florence Muncy of Vivian, WV. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by four brothers Christoper Muncy, Junior Muncy, Leonard Muncy, Albert Muncy, four sisters, Vada Walker, Elizabeth Clark, Pearl Compton and Phyllis Sue Muncy. Two loving husbands, Thomas E. Craft of Princeton, WV and Joe Ashley, Jr.of Hemphill, WV. Five Children, four sons: Wesley Ashley, Jay Ashley, Stephen Ashley and Joe Ashley and one daughter Julie Ashley. She is survived by her loving Sister, Bettie Mallory and husband Jim of Princeton, WV. Two Brothers, Charles Muncy and wife Sue of Bluefield, WV and Walter Muncy and wife Faye of Coalwood, WV. Seven Children, Six daughters, Deborah Hollaway, and husband Harold of Middlebourne, WV, Violet Lester and fiancee' David New of Welch, WV, Donna Keffler and husband John of Yantis, TX, Linda Brewer and husband Ray of Lewisburg, WV, Mary Wolverton and husband Mitch of Brandon, MS, Jodi Felts and husband Carl of Narrows, VA, and one son Rodney E. Ashley of Roanoke, VA. Twenty grandchildren, great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren. Numerous nieces and nephews, her beloved church family, extended family and friends. Ruby spent her life first and foremost as a Christian of the Pentecostal faith serving her Lord Jesus and as a devoted wife and loving mother to her family. She worked numerous jobs in retail and the food industry. Christian burial services will be held on Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at 3:00 pm at Cravens and Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell, WV with Pastor Michael Brooks officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell, WV where friends and family will serve as pallbearers. The Craft family will receive friends and relatives two hour prior to her service from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
