Claude Belcher

Claude Belcher 92 of Old Bramwell Road Bluefield, West Virginia passed away on Monday, February 01, 2016 at Westwood Medical Center in Bluefield, Virginia. Claude was born on December 27, 1923 in Capels, West Virginia to the late Robert Lee and Delia Greene Belcher. Claude had been a resident of Bluefield, West Virginia for the past 30 years and was of the Baptist faith. He was a retired coal miner and a member of the UMWA. He served his country in the US Navy during WWII. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Helen E. Belcher. Survivors Include: One Daughter: Gloria Bromfield and husband Thomas of Charleston, West Virginia Two Sisters: Gladys Whitaker of Lerona, West Virginia Pansy Perkins of Sugar Grove, Virginia Three grandchildren and one great grandchild Funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 04, 2016 at Memorial Baptist on Virginia Ave, Bluefield, Virginia at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Bill Lykins officiating the service. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluefield, West Virginia where family and friends will be serving as pallbearers. The Belcher family will receive friends and relatives on Thursday, February 04, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the church.
