Shelby Jean Sheets

Shelby Jean Sheets, 79, of Clemson Circle, Princeton, passed away on Monday, January 4, 2016 at the Westwood Center in Bluefield, VA. Born on August 13, 1936 in Bluefield, she was a daughter of the late John Emmitt and Flora Georgia Lynch Taylor . She had been a lifelong resident of Mercer County and was a retired cook for the Mercer County Board of Education. She was a member of the Princeton Assembly of God. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald E. Sheets, Sr.; and two sisters, Gail Rose and Diane Taylor. Survivors include: Sons: John E. Sheets and Denise of Statesville, NC Donald E. Sheets, Jr. of Statesville, NC Sister: Eloise Taylor and Larry of Montcalm, WV Graveside services will be conducted on Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at 2:00 PM at the Roselawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum in Princeton with Rev. David Kirby officiating. Those wishing to attend services are asked to meet at Roselawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum on Wednesday at 2:00PM.
