Born February 13, 1957 in Bluefield, West Virginia to Bill and Lou Ann McKinzie Blankenship of North Carolina. Gary has been a resident of Bluefield all of his life and was a Graduate of Montcalm High School. Gary was preceded in death by one brother Mark Blankenship Survivors include: His parents Bill and Lou Ann Blankenship of North Carolina Two daughters: Talisha Christian and grandchildren of Montcalm, West Virginia Amanda Blankenship of Newport News, Virginia Brothers: James “Jimmy” Blankenship and wife Alisa of Bluefield, West Virginia Jeffery Blankenship and wife Jessie of Bluewell, West Virginia Bill Blankenship, Jr and Melissa of North Carolina Linn Blankenship and wife Amy of North Carolina Sisters: Gwen McClure and husband Alan of Bluewell, West Virginia Sherrie Robbins and husband Scott of North Carolina
