Glen Tabor, 83, of Old Bramwell Road, Bluefield, WV, passed away on Monday, December 14, 2015 at Princeton Community Hospital.
Born on October 14, 1932 in Olive Hill, KY, he was a son of the late Clella and Arlie Baker Tabor. He had been a resident of Bluefield for most of his life and grew up in Sarah Ann, Logan County. He was a member of the MapleView Church of Christ and was a veteran of the 82nd Airborne Army serving during the Korean Conflict. He was also a member of the 82 Airborne Division Association. He formerly worked for CONSOL and was a member of the UMWA. He was a heavy equipment operator and was retired from Tabor Grading Company, which he owned and operated.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Lou Davis Tabor; brothers, Chester, Junior, Hassel, Charles, Herman and Hershal Tabor; and sisters, Marie Fox and Becky Susan Tabor.

Grandson: Tabor Crowe who was his “Lil Man”

Funeral services will conducted on Friday, December 18, 2015 at 11:00 AM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Ministers Tony Reed and Caleb Penwell officiating. Burial will follow at Grandview Memory Gardens in Bluefield, VA where Jim Hamm, Keith Abel, Eddie Boyles, Danny Sarver, Clayton Williams, and Roger Lacy, Jr. will serve pallbearers. Military honors will be performed by the Mercer County Veterans Honor Guard.
