Princeton, West Virginia - Dorothy Yates Elledge 95, of Halls Ridge Road Princeton, West Virginia passed away on Monday, December 14, 2015 at the Extended Care Home of Marlin Smith of Bluefield, West Virginia.
Dorothy was born on Saturday, October 16, 1920 to the late Bill and Maggie Lucas Yates in Leckie, West Virginia. She had been a resident of Princeton, West Virginia for the past thirty plus years. Dorothy was a graduate of Elkhorn High School and was a homemaker.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Vade Elledge, one son William Elledge and one brother Bill Yates Jr.

Seven grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren
Funeral services will be held for Dorothy on Friday, December 18, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluefield (Bluewell), West Virginia with Pastor Mike McGraw officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park where grandsons will be serving as pallbearers.
The Elledge family will receive friends and relatives on Friday, December 18, 2015 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
