Hensley, WV--In the early morning hours of Tuesday, December 8, 2015 heaven gained another angel when Phillip Patrick (Tallyboy) Lucion, 70 of Hensley, West Virginia was called home. Philip was the son of the late Robert and Ella Hill Lucion. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Rhonda Gail Lucion and daughter Tammy Lynn Lucion. In addition to his wife and daughter he was preceded by his brothers Robert Lucion Jr. and Anthony Lucion; his sisters Lorraine Alberty, Anna Lucion and Angelina Hall. He is survived by his children: Phillip Patrick Lucion Jr. and wife Joyce of Welch WV; Donna Renea Gibson of Fort Hood, TX; Rebecca Ann Tabor and husband Rollins of Coalwood, WV; Phillip George Lucion and wife Deana of Roderfield, WV. Brothers Henry Lucion and wife Gwen of Bluewell, WV; Albert Lucion and wife Colleen of Dublin, VA; Sisters Katie Dotson and husband Paul of Bassett, VA; Judy Bailey, Sandra England, and Pauline Lucion of Hensley, WV. Grandchildren Brittany Collins, Madison Lucion, Danielle Bright and husband SPC Timothy Bright, Sarah Tabor and Philip Jeffrey Lucion. Philip was looking forward to meeting Trinity Gail Lucian his granddaughter; due to be born soon. Great grandchildren: Abby Gail, Jordan, Alexander, and Aria. Philip was an avid music lover sharing many songs on Facebook for his friends and DJing in the area for various organizations. He was called “Tallyboy” and also “music man.” He was a member of the Pocahontas Coal Field Radio Club, call sign AB8LU. He was a member of UMWA. Celebration of Phillips life will be on Monday, December 14, 2015 at 2:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell with his lifelong friends, Pastors Gene Thorn and Michael Brooks officiating. Interment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery where he and Rhonda will finally rest together. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Friends may call on Monday from 1:00-2:00PM at the funeral home.
