Sammy Jarrod Stepp

Sammy Jarrod Stepp, 32, of Tyro Place (Bluewell), Bluefield and formerly of Anawalt, passed away on Thursday, December 3, 2015. Born on March 7, 1983 in Bluefield, he was a son of the late Juanita Stepp and had lived most of his life in McDowell County. He was a 2001 graduate of Pocahontas High School and formerly worked at Echostar. He was an avid Duke Fan. Sammy loved his fiancé Kat and his family. He was a loving and caring man who left this world too soon. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a brother John Stepp; a sister in law Kim Stepp; and an aunt, Gladys Penny Stepp. Survivors include: Fiancée: Katherine Hahn and her daughter Allison of Bluewell Sisters: Rose Edna Hawley and Ruby Davis Uncle: Kenneth Stepp Uncle: Jerry Stepp and Aunt Betty A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends Friends may call on Sunday evening from 4:00-6:00 at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell.
