Rev. Albert Lee Jarvis 89 of Titusville, Florida formerly of Princeton, West Virginia passed away on Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at his residence.
Rev. Jarvis was born on Friday, June 18, 1926 in Leckie, West Virginia to the late Rufus and Lula Bowles Jarvis. He was a graduate of Gary High School and a member of the Pentecostal of Holiness Church where he had been a licensed ordained minister. Rev. Jarvis had been a resident of Florida for the past 15 years. He had worked for the U.S. Steel Coal Company with 19 years of service as well as the McDowell County Board of Education; Rev. Jarvis was previously also employed by Harrys Mobile Homes on Gov. George C. Perry highway. Albert served his country proudly during WWII with the U.S. Navy.
In addition to parents he was preceded in death by one daughter Alice Jarvis.

Stepchildren:Lee Franklin and fiance Lillian Huchison, ; Linda Rumley and husband Roger; and Lenny Franklin and wife Donna
He is also survived by six grandchildren and several Great Grandchildren
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 24, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell, West Virginia where Rev. Jimmy Sanson and Rev. Bill Goode will be officiating the service. Entombment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Parks Mausoleum where the Mercer County Honor Guard will conduct military cryptside rites. Grandsons and Great Grandsons will be serving as pallbearers.
The Jarvis Family will be receiving family and friends on Friday, October 23, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell, West Virginia.
