Louise Bowlin Haynes, age 86, of Quail Valley Drive, Princeton, WV, formerly of Welch, WV died on Thursday, October 15, 2015 at Princeton Community Hospital. Born on August 8, 1929 in Bramwell, WV, she was a daughter of the late James Frank and Della Mae Miller Bowlin. She was a 1947 graduate of Bramwell High School and was employed at Stevens Clinic Hospital as a medical secretary and retired when the hospital closed in 1988. She also worked as a contract worker as a secretary at Welch Emergency Hospital for several years. She was a charter member of Anderson Memorial Presbyterian Church in Welch, WV. She was active as a Sunday School teacher and received the Life Membership Award from the Women of the Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, George Thomas Haynes and an infant brother and sister. Survivors include: Daughter: Belinda Burks and husband David of Princeton, WV Son: Jim Haynes and wife Tina of Princeton, WV Sister: Betty Bellmyer of Orange, CA Grandchildren: Heather Burks Hudson and husband Jason of Columbus, MS, Shannon Collette, Jennifer Bristoll of Burlington, NC, Devin Brady and wife Beth of Beckley, WV and Ben Brady of Princeton, WV. Great-Grandchildren: Brittany Burks of Knoxville, TN, Justin Dove of Columbus, MS, Gwen Bare of Parkersburg, Pennsylvania, Brianna Walls of Xavier, OH and Piper Brady of Beckley, WV. Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 19, 2015 at 1:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Dr. Ed Pettus and Rev. Susan Harrison officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell where her family and friends will be serving as pallbearers. Friends may call on Monday from 11:00 AM until the time of the services. The family asks that memorial contributions be made to the McDowell County Humane Society 109 Dogbone Drive, Superior, WV 24801 or the Bluefield Shrine Club Transportation Fund C/O: Rich Work 514 Quail Valley Drive Princeton, WV. 24740.
