Hershel (Tater) Hall, Jr.

Hershel (Tater) Hall, Jr., 79, of Heather Street, Falls Mills, VA, and formerly of McDowell County, passed away on Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at his home. Born on December 19, 1935 in Welch, he was a son of the late Hershel Hall, Sr. and Elizabeth Rose. He was a member of the Pure in Heart Ministries in Tazewell. He was a retired coal miner and formerly worked in the natural gas well industry. Survivors include: Wife: Ethel Bishop Hall of Bluewell 2 daughters: Peggy Bellomy and Tony of Matoaka Donna Coburn and Jerry of Falls Mills, VA Son: Bobby Hall and Faith of Bulltail Hollow 7 grandchildren: James (Jamie) Stillwell, Amy Stillwell, Bobby (BJ) Hall, Jr., Rebecca Music, Brianna Hall, Summer Coburn, and Lacey Bellomy. 8 great grandchildren: Brandon Denton, Bradley Stillwell, Michael Shrewsbury, Dakota Stillwell, Tyler Tiller, Jamie Stillwell, Cheyene Tiller and Justin Stillwell. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, October 10, 2015 at 1:00 PM at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with Pastor Douglas Bowman officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell. Friends may call on Friday from 6-8PM at the funeral home.
