James Everette Wimmer

James Everette Wimmer, 81, of Prater Hollow Road, Falls Mills, VA, passed away Monday, August 31, 2015 at his home. Born on August 24, 1934 in Falls Mills, VA, he was a son of late Arthur and Stacy Christine Danley Wimmer. He had been a resident of Falls Mills his entire life and was a member of the Voice of Calvary Baptist Church in Princeton and was a retired truck driver. He was a veteran of the US Air Force and served in Korea. He was a member of the VFW and, Elks, and Moose Lodge. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ellen Graham Wimmer; a grandson, Kevin Meade; and a sister, Lois Cumby Brown. Survivors include: Son: Jimmy Wimmer at Falls Mills, VA Daughters: Sheilah Meade of Bluefield, VA Christina Reckling of Temecula, CA Sabrina Caston of West Falls, TX Patricia Harris of New London, CT 13 grandchildren Sister: Thelma Fields of Bluefield, WV Memorial services will be conducted on Friday, September 4, 2015 at 1:00 PM at the Voice of Calvary Baptist Church, Kirk Street Addition, Princeton, WV with Pastor Michael Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell. Friends may call on Thursday from 6-8PM at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell.
